Think about the issues that are important to you and make an informed vote.  YWCA Australia thinks the most important issues for the federal election include eliminating violence against women and girls and increasing respectful relationships, supporting women's leadership - in business, government and the community, and reducing the gender pay gap (which means on average that women are paid around 18% less than men for similar work).

YWCA Victoria is a vibrant statewide community organisation committed to the equality and opportunity of women, especially young women.

We provide marginalised women with basic services like housing, childcare, employment and training and we also run arts, sports and mentoring programs that meet the emotional, physical and creative needs of women. The YWCA has been improving the opportunities and lifeskills of Victorian women since 1882.
