YWCA Australia welcomes the Treasurer’s commitment to spread the benefits of the mining boom across our community. “Tripling the tax-free threshold from $6,000 to $18,200 will deliver benefits to many people in our community,” said Dr Caroline Lambert, Executive Director, YWCA Australia, “It will put extra cash in the pockets of working Australians, which will be of particular significance to those on the lowest incomes.” ...
