EPIC Leadership Fund

The EPIC Leadership Fund exists to ensure that young women who want to pursue leadership opportunities, to make a difference in the world and improve their communities are not prevented from doing so because of a lack of skills, resources and confidence.

Your donation to the EPIC Leadership Fund will support YWCA Victoria to provide opportunities for young women to access experiences such as:

- Attending YWCA World Council and other local, national and international YWCA events.
- Participating in leadership development programs
- Receiving mentoring from women in leadership positions

YWCA Victoria wants to ensure that incredible women leaders, particularly young women leaders, are fostered, promoted and secured for the next generation!

Josie's Story

"In July 2011, I was supported by YWCA victoria to be one of the Australiandelegates to YWCA World Council in Zurich. It was such an amazing experience being able to meet other young women involved in the YWCA movement and learn about the issues they are facing. I also learned for myself the value of and need for young women's leadership both with the Y and the broader community. I have brought back my experiences from World Council and shared them through my other volunteering role as Chair of Young UN Women Australia - Melbourne Committee".
