Bendigo Region School Holiday Program

The Bendigo Region School Holiday Program is a high quality childcare program, provided in a welcoming and safe environment for primary school children. The program is run from 8am to 6pm during school holidays daily by fully qualified staff.  We are able to accept a maximum of 30 children each day.

To access the Bendigo Region School Holiday Program, parents need to be working, participating in a form of education or have a child with disabilities for priority access.

The School Holiday Program receives government funding and many families are also eligible to receive Child Care Benefits, making our School Holiday Program very affordable.

The School Holiday Program works within State and Federal Government standards, guidelines and policies. We are also able provide extra care givers for children with special needs. Our child to staff ratio is:

  • 1 to 15 at the centre
  • 1 to 8 on excursions
  • 1 to 5 for swimming

All of our qualified staff have:

  • Relevant childcare certificates or current experience
  • Relevant childcare certificates or current experience
  • Relevant childcare certificates or current experience
  • First Aid qualifications
  • Police and Working With Children Checks
  • Great communication skills
  • A passion for working with children and young people
