The YWCA has a worldwide membership of 25 million. The YWCA is a membership based, not for profit organisation, with history spanning 120 years in Victoria.

As an organisation, we provide vital programs and services to assist disadvantaged women in the Victorian community, whilst encouraging independence, self respect and leadership in women, especially young women.

Our programs include housing services, job placement, education and training, mentoring, childcare referral for newly arrived migrants and refugees, community arts, sporting programs, school holiday programs and many other services that support the Victorian community.
