YWCA Australia - The YWCA of Australia is a national association of the World YWCA one of the world’s oldest and largest women’s organisation represented in 122 countries, with a global outreach of 25 million worldwide.
World YWCA – unites 25 million women and girls in over 110 countries through 100 affiliated, autonomous national YWCAs and links thousands of local YWCAs whose programmes meet community needs identified by women.
Victorian Women’s Trust - is an independent trust fund that exists to make a difference in women's lives. The vision of the Victorian Women's Trust fund is of a just and humane society in which women enjoy full participation as citizens, free of poverty, discrimination and disadvantage
National Council of Women - NCWA is non party political and non sectarian and encourages the participation of women in all facets of community life.
WEL (Women’s Electoral Lobby) - WEL Australia is a national independent political organisation dedicated to creating a society where women's participation and potential are unrestricted, acknowledged and respected and where women and men share equally in society's responsibilities and rewards.
Union of Australian Women - The UAW is a national organisation, formed in 1950 to work for the status and well-being of women in a peaceful and environmentally safe world. We have been leaders in a wide variety of campaigns.
International Women’s Development Agency - International Women's Development Agency is an Australian non-government organisation working with women in developing countries to support their efforts to improve their life choices and those of their families and communities, and to advance women's human rights. We focus on groups of women that are particularly marginalised or suffer poverty or oppression.
WASH - Working Against Sexual Harassment (WASH) was established in 2000 as an independent group of women's organisations formed to address and reduce the spiralling 700% increase in sexual harassment reported in Victoria over the last ten years.
WHEEL - Women's Higher Education and Equity Lobby is a lobbying network that organises, participates and assists in campaigns that improve the status and equity of women in Higher Education.
Youth Organisations:
Girl Guides Victoria - Guiding is for girls of all ages, cultures and abilities and offers a safe and secure environment. Our program offers activities in the areas of personal, physical, practical and self development.
YACVic - The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria Inc. (YACVic) is the peak body and leading policy advocate on young people's issues in Victoria, Australia. We are a independent, non-government organisation. Our vision is for a Victorian community that values and provides opportunity, participation, justice and equity for all young people.
Health Organisations:
Absolutely Women’s Health - The absolutely women's health program is a health promotion program for all women. The program has a holistic approach to health and views each issue from an emotional, physical, political and social aspect. We hold a variety of events at the hospital and with other agencies. We aim to celebrate, inform, debate and discuss contemporary and controversial health issues that affect women's health and women's lives.
